I have had my Home Cloud for about a month. I have enabled Plex, but when I click ‘Configure’ the webpage is down, and has been since i bought it! How can I configure if the page is donw? Help anyone?
Mind sharing some more details about your setup, e.g. what version of the Plex Media Server you have installed? The way you tagged this post I suppose it’s installed on a Mac (which version)?
How do you open the server configuration (e.g. what browser, are you using https://app.plex.tv/desktop or the bundled version via http://127.0.0.1:32400/web or http://[PMS IP address]:32400:web)?
Hi,
I’m using the latest version of Plex, and yes, I’m on a MAC, latest system too…I click in the web version of My Cloud, enable Plex, click Configure and get a web page not working…Are thre other ways to access the configure page then?
Thanks
P
You have me confused…
Is your Plex Media Server installed on that Mac or your WD My Cloud NAS?
Hi… It’s on My Home Cloud NAS
hmm… I have seen a number of posts from WD MyCloud Home owners who are stuck on a more than 1 year old version of Plex who started reporting issues with their server and getting sent back and forth by WD to Plex etc.
In your case you should be able to access the Plex Media Server using the WD MyCloud’s IP address (http://[MyCloud IP address]:32400/web). If that’s not working – can you manually collect the logs of the PMS?
