Configuring Hide/Show Seasons setting for all items in Library

Somehow my server got configured to hide seasons for every tv show. Not sure how that happened but it’s across multiple libraries.

Is there a way to configure it back to Library Default without having to manually go into every item?

This setting doesn’t only exist in the properties of every show, but also in the properties of the whole library.

Correct. My library is set to Hide Single Season Only.

But every single show somehow got set to Hide.

Which means that all of my shows have all of the episodes lumped together. I just want to set the shows back to Library Default without having to manually do each one.

I don’t know how this can happen.
The default setting for a show should be ‘Library Default’, so it can “inherit” the setting of the library.

Verify that your Plex database is not damaged:

  1. activate debug logging (not ‘verbose’!)
  2. quit Plex Server
  3. wait 1 minute
  4. start Plex Server
  5. wait 5 minutes
  6. fetch log files and attach them here

Or inspect them yourself. Take a look at the Plex Media Server.log file and seek for messages about database corrupt or malformed.
If you find these, you may have to repair your database.

Yeah, I’m quite confused as to how this happened myself.

I grepped my logs(I had debug on already) and this is the only instances I found of corrupt or malformed.

I have looked into this, and I’m afraid there is not an easy way. Not even with accessing the plex database directly.
