Hello, I lost connection a few hours ago on all platforms (PC, PS5, mobile, web) while manually updating some posters and backgrounds. A Reddit user walked me through running DBRepair and everything came out ok. Not sure what the issue is, hoping someone can take a look at the attached log.
updating with more info:
it’s a simple setup server and plex app on same PC and network
I tried restarting my PC, restarted my modem (xfinity) multiple times
I can’t access plex web
I can pull up the Windows Plex app and it seems to recognize my server at first but then if I try to engage with a movie or TV show or move through my libraries, it will freeze and the server app will crash and the Plex app will stay hung
if i re-open both up but not engage with a movie or show, i can open the settings and get in fine, and under Media Server it’s constantly looking for the server and saying “Unable to connect to Media Server securely”
Problem resolved, this thread had a similar issue and I followed the same steps as OP. Found the problem bundle and deleted it, cleared PhotoTranscoder folder. Plex works fine now.
