"Connection Not Secure" Remote Access Denied

I’m running the Plex Media Server from my MacBook on Sequoia 15.5 with my library connected to peripheral external hard drives. When I attempt to access the online server website portal using a different device on the same wi-fi network (Meta Quest 3), I get an error saying “Connection Not Secure” and am unable to access my library.

Is this a Mac specific issue? The support article on this I found to be very confusing and over my head:

My “Secured Connections” setting is set to “Preferred”.

The whole reason I wanted to get set up with Plex was to be able to access my library using different devices. I’m feeling really disappointed that this doesn’t work and really don’t know what to do. Should I abandon Plex?

Are you using https://app.plex.tv/web or http://ipofserver:32400/web ?

You really need to give us screenshots or logs to figure out what is going on.

I believe I am using the first one. I tried going to the second one and it didn’t work. I used the oculus browser and went to the plex website to log into my account.

I took this screenshot on my oculus 3 that shows the error that comes up.

Not sure how to provide logs..
