Has anyone ran into this problem of not getting fast enough connection on LAN while being able to watch everything else but Plex?
I can watch my plex server remotely (indirect), however, I’m getting an error while watching it on wired LAN: “Connection is not fast enough”.
The network at our house is 1Gigabit, all wires are Cat6 and 1Gbit switch, the only limitations are the network interfaces of the computers themselves. eg. my PC downloads whole 3GB movie file in under 10Sec. fast enough
There is NO WiFi involved in this setup, all wired.
Our local Plex server has 8CPU cores and has no performance issues.
This error comes up if I try to play local Plex on Amazon FireTV (wired) I’m puzzled because this very same device has no problems playing 4K streaming from Netflix, Amazon and Curiosity channels in real time. Why???
Has anyone solved this yet?
P.S. Plex server version 1.12.2.4929
