Constant buffering and timeouts from version 1.43.0.10492, maybe Live TV

Just interested to see if anyone else has had this.

Symptoms - very slow to load, then lots of timeouts “unable to play programme” type dialogs on the Android TV. Samsung offers to restart the app or to clear out all settings.

I’ve not spent too much time debugging - just enough to rule out network issues and performance constraints on the server (an old Intel AlmaLinux 9 box).

Main use case is watching live TV/time delay live TV from an HDHomeRun tuner, but it seems slow to load, not just watching a programme. I’ve wondered if it’s worse while recording a stream, but not really been able to investigate much as I’ve had to roll back to the previous version as it was pretty much unusable from the main TV and the number of angry messages from the spouse as hit an unsustainable level.

Same, I have to watch OTA using the HDhomeRun app or EMBY, plex just can’t figure this out for some reason. I’ve tried many times over the years, but it’s always got issues with buffering or not even tuning, claiming the signal is too weak etc. I try it from time to time but always a problem with the plex and OTA. Maybe one day until then chose a different app I guess.
