I recently transferred about 400 items from Looney Tunes DVDs to my ‘Cartoon’ Library – separately named area.
PLEX did what it does and ‘identified’ many items correctly but in some cases since the title/name was the same as some other content PLEX identified with the incorrect picture and content description.
How do I change those items in the Library?
Where do I get the information for that change?
Any way to force PLEX to use that source of information>

There is NOTHING about this that is ‘Easy’…
It was a LITTLE easier for me using Filebot - I pre-named the material with the Show Name (Looney Tunes) and the Episode Name (Like: “looney tunes - hurdy-gurdy hare”) and FileBot hunted them all down and named them for me. YMMV.

If you’re doing this by hand watch the first few seconds with VLC, identify the Year (via the Roman Numerals), get the exact name (harder than it sounds 'cause it’s “Looney Spelling”), look it up at TVDB then name and structure accordingly. Yes, it’s a PITA, but the end result is worth it.

If ripping from disc with MakeMKV REMOVE THE BOGUS EMBEDDED METADATA IN THE TITLE FIELD - if creating MP4/M4V files afterwards. There is NOTHING about that embedded Title that Plex will prefer that will help the matching process - in fact, everything about that bogus Title Field will make matching impossible.
