When playing content, if display mode is set to letterbox, stretch, or zoom the media extends past the dynamic island on my iphone instead of stopping before it like plex used to. if I set to original there are huge black bars on all 4 sides of the video, making the video small enough that its hard to see. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a setting I can enable somewhere to fix this?
It looks like this is only a problem with media of a certain aspect ratio.
A file with dimensions 1920x800 behaves as previously mentioned, but a file thats 1920x1080 plays correctly.
Still annoying. Does that mean we’re expected to update all our old content vs Plex fixing their end? Not that I expect you to fix this by any means, but come on Plex. It’s worked for years! Anyone know a better way to let them know this has become a problem?

But. But. I’ve been using Plex for years, watching mostly old TV shows (aka Futurama), and all of a sudden my server is outdated, and after spending hours getting it figured out, the aspect ratio is off and unable to be fixed. They have to know their updates suck, right? RIGHT?!? 
You can sideload an older version of the plex app (client) also.
