Content not showing up on my Samsung TV

I have a Western Digital PR4100 which has my media on it and the Plex Media Server Software.
On my computer web browser, I am able to see and play all of the media on the server. On my Samsung QN65QFAM TV I have installed the Plex app and am only able to see and play Plex generated content. My movies and tv show folders are not visible on the apps sidebar. Any idea why the tv won’t access the content?

Have you signed in to your Plex account on the Samsung Plex app?

Can you post the Plex app version you have installed on the Samsung and/or the model year of you Samsung TV?
