Well I completed the whole process of copying many terabytes of TV an Movie folders over. As suggested, this now rids the conflict of the Video folder issue and finally allowing me to update Plex finally. Hopefully that’s the last time I’ve got to do such a process just to satisfy a new view on how Plex should handle permissions
