Content unreachable since upgrade to PlexMediaServer-1.18.5.2260

Have been having the issue in the title since upgrading yesterday. Occasionally I can reach my server but it doesn’t last and becomes unreachable again. This is using the web interface and also the AppleTV app.

I have restarted the NAS with no luck. Hopefully someone here can help me.

This started to happen yesterday… I’m remotely connected and I can’t see why my content is unreachable. Service is running, files are accessible, network is connected, yet… “unreachable”

I uninstalled rtorrent and magically Plex was working perfectly again. Can only presume rtorrent was blocking various ports.

I am having connection problems with QNAP Plex as well with the latest version. I restart the Plex Server App and it works for 30 minutes and then it can’t connect anymore. I have seen this across multiple client devices. Unfortunately this software is very very buggy and unfortunately I don’t have an old version to revert back to. I think the only fix is to install an older version like 1.17 and keep old versions of Plex going forward and don’t ever upgrade again for a long time!

We will need the DEBUG (not VERBOSE) logs ZIP to be able to help.

If you’ll capture that and attach, I can look.

I have the same problems as “jmd64”

since I updated the 28th of January at least 1 or 2 times a day I have to restart the nas to get the plex media server active again.

I was expecting this version a lot because it corrected the automatic audio language selection bug, but it is too unstable and if I am away it is impossible for me to restart the nas remotely. where can i find an older version of plex server?

Same here. it works occasionally but for instance now, I had to restart the NAS! But this happened before with other versions. seems to happen a lot with PMS. can you please get us the reson. it should be such a simple thing to make work!
if i load a video through Qnaps video app is snappy and fast…!

QNAP has quirks. I tolerate QNAP because it’s a workstation in a NAS box.

It takes forever to reboot
I have to reboot it at least once a week.
