If i start to watch a TV Show Episode on one device, lets say My Roku in my Home then go to the Gym and Try to watch the rest of it there, it seems to give me different shows or starting points. Last time i watched a couple episodes of Game of Thrones but then tried to watch the rest of it using my IOS device, the Continue Watching section has an episode 2 back. Are these supposed to stay syncronized within my account or just on the device i last watched it on?
Should be synchronized. Sounds like you are logged into the devices with different Plex user accounts.
i only have one user account and ive had it for years.
You are not perhaps using a device which was previously used by one of your family members and is still logged into their Plex account, instead of yours?
ok i may have this worked out. Last episode i watched on my IOS was E5. Last episode i watched on my BR Roku was E3. i went into my Roku app and marked Ep3 as played and now both apps show Ep6 as the next one. I will keep an eye on it. thanks for the responses.
Ah, yes. Whenever there were episodes skipped, the behaviour is a little bit crazy and not all exactly intuitive. So look out for unplayed episodes ordered before your current episode.
