If a movie has a hard link and exists in more than one library It will show mutiple tiles for the same movie in the “Contiue Watching” section of the UI.
Is there any way to collapse multiples of the same movie into one tile?
As it is, the continue-watching hub doesn’t care if an item points to the same file. It’ll list all identical items based on the id assigned by the library agent. If it’s the same movie (no matter if it’s one file or multiple different ones), Plex will list each option to continue watching it.
I wonder about your underlying use case… why do you need to place the exact same file in multiple libraries to begin with?
