A few releases ago, (4-6 weeks?) Continue Watching disappeared for a home user on my server. On my admin account it works fine.
For my home user it is missing on on all players (web, android and roku).
I’ve tried resetting customization for that user, but to no avail.
I’ve not found any solutions searching. Any ideas on how to get Continue Watching back for my home user?
This is probably a silly question… I take it that home user did actually watch something using their own account? After some time, Plex will no longer show upcoming episodes in Continue Watching… so just in case that’s what got missing.

She watches stuff all the time from series that are available to her and where there are subsequent episodes. That section vanished from the Home Screen.
And here’s something odd that I just noticed while double checking the above.
My initial post was referring to the Home Screen which is the only place where Continue Watching has ever shown up for me. When I signed into her account and went into her normal TV Show library, Continue Watching is at the top of that library.
So new question: How did she/I screw this up and how do I move that library’s Continue Watching back to the Home screen where it belongs?
Hot damn, I figured it out and will leave the answer here in case future folks have the same problem and might also be suffering from selective early onset dementia.
This started when I added a folder that is in my TV Shows Library to my TV Shows - Kid Library. When I did that, the episodes would show up twice in my profile’s Continue Watching. To ‘fix’ that, I went to the Kid Library → Advanced → Visibility and excluded it from Home Screen. I didn’t realize that would hose her profile.
Reverting that change fixed the issue, but I didn’t connect the two because I’m an old with poor short term memory.
