I have no Continue Watching on my Home screen, even though I’ve watched one episode of a new season. Even tried partially watching the second episode and stopping it, to no avail.
What info needs to be provided to get help with this?
Sometimes, while moving around the libraries and through settings, I’ll try to use the back button and will come up with “Something went wrong.” This causes me to close and reopen the player, which has allowed Continue Watching to reappear.
I don’t know what “went wrong” or how to prevent it from happening again, but I assume that this is the real issue I need help with.
Had a similar issue. In settings, to to Libraries. Put cursor over your TV show library and “Manage Recommendations” will appear to the right. Click on it “Manage Recomendations”. The middle “Home” column needs to have something checked and then continue watching episodes will appear. This solved my issue.
Recently I noticed on some of the latest updated versions of Plex, this problem starts occurring on occasion, and exiting the app, logging back in shows the “continue watching” area on the Home Screen again. I have reproduced this fairly consistently on Roku app latest versions for about the last 4 months. Yet to reproduce this on PC desktop version or Android App version on the same server. There may be an introduced bug in the latest app versions causing this issue. When I test with 6 month old versions of the Roku app, no issue was seen. To be clear, this happens about 30% of the time when the app is run and logged in. Not every time it runs.
I’m seeing the same on the Firestick, been happening for the last few weeks at least. If I finish an episode, continue watching goes away. If I then move down to TV Shows, then back up to Home, Continue Watching comes back.
