Is there any way to force a show into the continue watching section?
Several shows with new seasons have been added and they don’t show up in CW but some do. I’ve tried to mark previous seasons as unwatched and then watched, but that doesn’t affect it either.
Would be a nice feature to be able to click ‘Add To’ and have CW be an option.
Maybe change the number of weeks to keep shows on CW to more than say 52 week (1 Year). Works fine for me.
Mine is set to 104 weeks (increased for covid delays). The most recent show is Two Sentence Horror Stories, new season was added this week, previous season was less that 52 weeks ago. It’s in the Recently Added but not CW
Does anyone know if marking a season watched triggers the next episode to appear in CW or do you have to actually play the episode?
Don’t think marking a whole season will force it onto CW but marking the last episode from the previous season unwatched and then watched should do it. This assumes the next season is already marked as unwatched.

The original question of why it didn’t show up in the first place when added still exists. I had this also with new seasons of Simpsons and Family Guy as well.

In your library settings I’d start by checking Weeks to consider for Continue Watching and Include season premieres in Continue Watching. They will influence when new season are added to plex and if they’ll appear in CW.
Well I have been seeing some odd behavior with show meta as of late with Plex, episodes previously watched being marked as unwatched overnight during maintenance etc. 
So not surprising.
I’ve seen folks report weirdness in the past with CW so its hard to say. I’ve seen mention of reset customizations fixing stuff also but who knows.
I’ve not had any issues myself but I do have the include season premieres in cw disabled. I like to control what is on that list rather than have it auto populated just because a series I’ve watched has a new season which I just added to my plex server. When I start watching it again it’ll add to cw then which is exactly what I want.

The workaround should be good, true, but I’m still hoping I hear from someone at Plex about a permanent fix…
