I’m requesting the ability to control Plexamp’s playback (pause, next, previous) even when my Windows screen is locked. This would allow for uninterrupted control of my music without unlocking my screen.
Context: Currently, when my computer is locked, I can’t control Plexamp without unlocking the screen. This disrupts the flow when I quickly want to skip a track while away from my computer.
Media keys are active if Plexamp is not in focus – unless the game or some other player is grabbing them for themselves.
Plexamp has already global keyboard shortcuts.
Again, unless the game is suppressing them for some reason, they should work. If they don’t, there is not much Plexamp can do against that.
Maybe Windows’ Game Mode is interfering. You might want to verify Windows settings pertaining to game mode.
My media keys works on every other media player I’ve tried either I’m in game or when Windows is locked, except for Plexamp.
Edit: I edited the original post since the gaming part is an issue on my side. Actually this issue is specific to League of Legends.
