Control plex playback from Iphone on plex Kubuntu PC

I have on a media server running Kubuntu and on that the Plex media server and desktop app.
What I would like to do is stream contact from this server but control it from my iPhone using the Plex app.
This does work for Iphone to Apple TV+ and I can control from the Kubuntu desktop app to run on my iPad or IPhone.
For some reason, I do not see the Kubuntu Plex desktop app as player to select!

Is this possible or do I need to adjust settings?

It cannot be remote controlled.
Only Plex HTPC can. https://support.plex.tv/articles/203082707-supported-plex-companion-apps/
