Conversion failed. A required codec could not be found or failed to install

Server Version#: 1.43.2.10687-563d026ea

I’m reopening this topic because I’m experiencing the same issue with Plex Media Server version 1.43.2.10687-563d026ea on Windows 11 with the latest updates installed.

After downgrading and reinstalling version 1.43.0.10492-121068a07, the issue disappeared.

Logs from 1.43.2.10687-563d026ea:

  • The A:Transcode\Sessions is succesfully created.

How have you entered the transcode directory path?

Based on the error message, it appears to be A:Transcode ...

Have you tried A:\Transcode... ?

The Transcode\Sessions folder is correctly created. I already tried what you are suggesting A: or "A:\ as the Transcode folder is created by Plex but it didn’t fix the issue. Even if I use A:\, in the logs, it is A:Transcode\Sessions and not A:\Transcode\Sessions

Using the previous version with the exact same value for this setting works.
