For the past two weeks, any video that I put into Plex, when trying to play, gets a “Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error.” message. Any older movies, though, play fine. I am running Plex on a 2012 Windows server, 32GB ram. If I try to play the video just by opening it on the drive, it plays fine. Just when going through Plex does it not work. I know this is not a lot to go on, but I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out, and am to the point where I just want to rebuild the darn server and start from scratch. I hope I don’t have to do that though…
