Convert automatically with subtitles dont work

Hello all,

For some months, I have noticed playback failures while trying to play videos with subtitle enabled and the “convert automatically” mode.

On the server, I see the normal transcoding process in progress but nothing on the android app, just the loading animation forever.

But,
I fixed the problem by downgrading to the May 22 version 8.1.0.17966-3dbad729.

I took the app on this site: Release Announcements - Android TV beta - #311 by sixones

I changed the version of the application on my fire TV 4K with adb command.

Since everything works. I can now put in automatic convert mode with subtitles.

But if I update the app to the version of May 29th 8.1.2.18120 the bug is back

So the bug persists from the 29th to today

Same issue on Fire TV (android).

This bug has been resubmitted multiple times and never seen any response. Any updates?
