Converting AC3 5.1 to AAC 5.1

Hi,

I would like to transcode a 1080p movie with AC3 5.1 audio using the plex optimizer.
Why doesn’t the plex optimizer convert the AC3 to AAC 5.1?

I ask this, because I would like to play the stream directly on the client - and with AC3 it’s just direct stream.
If the audio is DTS, then the optimizer converts it to AAC 5.1. Why doesn’t it do this with AC3?

Are there any settings to change or is there a possibility to force the conversation of the audio to AAC?
