with the new norm due to covid, I have some friends using my plex remotely. I really want to copy/share my playlists with my friends for music and movies that i have created over the years 
but sadly unable to do so. When will this feature be added ?? Is there a different on-going thread i can bump ?? this must be something that MANY MANY users want i imagine.
You can share individual playlists with others.
There’s a number of threads on this matter – some users keep those going as they want playlists that can be edited by all “participants” (which is not possible).
You can share individual items by clicking on their context menu (...) and select Share. This will allow you to pick one of your Friends or to share with a new friend/user.
I just created a “dynamic” playlist based on a filter (unwatched episodes) that is going to be a cartoon “channel” for my nephew. It works well when I add new episodes do the library, but I couldn’t find a way to edit this filter once the playlist is created, meaning I have to delete it, losing all the playing history, and create a new one.
Am I missing anything?
Use the hosted web app https://app.plex.tv instead of the local one
WebTools can copy playlists among user accounts.
However, the copies of ‘smart’ playlists will be ‘static’/‘dumb’ playlists.

thanks i went to my playlist click … i don’t see any share option i’m on probably the next to the latest plex build 1.19.3.2852… see pic where am i missing what your saying

Single item sharing requires Plex Web 4.34. So you need to use the hosted version (http://app.plex.tv/deskop)… the locally installed version that is part of your Plex Media Server does not yet have that feature.

@tom80H , ok i got it and see that now but here is my issue i found… so i have my main account plex account let’s call it “fam” that is admin… then I have user accounts like Ben, John, Jane, etc… So i found that i can share playlists from “fam” but NOT from say “Ben” … do i have to make Ben an admin?? i thought i could just share playlists from Ben to John, or from Jane to Ben etc… ???
If i can only share from “fam” because they are admin and i can’t make “Ben” an admin… then how do i copy a playlist from Ben to “fam” ?? or do i have to go under “fam” and recreate manually ALL my playlists which is insane to do, then share them from “fam” to John or Jane??
