Is there any hope for being able to share Playlists? This would be awesome

I would also like the ability to share playlists. Seems that there are quite a few discussions on this topic in the plex forums.
Here is my only workaround:
I created a new library for movies and named it āmy suggested moviesā.
I also created an additional music library for āmy suggested musicā.
Itās troublesome and time consuming, but for now itās my only workaround I can think of.

FFR thanks, Iād thought of doing the same but it is indeed time and space consuming. Iām adding my +1 for the āaskā of adding a shared playlist feature. Plex should at least create the feature to allow the source server owner to do this for Plex Friends.
+1 sharing playlist would be useful for creating āsetsā of films such as 007 films, Pirates of the Caribbean etc.
Really, how is this taking so long?
Please release an update that will allow us to share a playlist.
I had that this problem and recently found somewhat of a workaround (as long as your friends trust you).
I got tired of when my daughter and grandson visited that my account was the default logon to my living room plex server so when they left I had some two-hundred and forty-leven partially watched episodes of movies, Paw Patrol episodes, and other show.
- They already have their own Plex accounts they use at their house so I created (linked) them local accounts on my PMS server and made us all login with PIN#'s.
- On their TVās in the extra rooms in my house as well as my MBR TV I set them to autologon with the PINs.
- Plex sent them emails that they had to accept (much like the initial setup)
- When they were at my house I asked for their PIN#s (here is where the trust comes into play)
- With their PINs, I can login into their account and create a playlist for them (so not really sharing but duplicating a playlist)
- Now they can see and use the playlist I create for them.
- Technically they never really have to come to my house to login, they could have done that over the phone or email but they have to trust you with their PIN#. They can always change their PIN afterwards if the creation of a playlist(s) is a one time or infrequent event.
However with the latest update to 1.0.0.226 they can use the playlist, but I can no longer view the contents thanks to the Plex team removing access to playlists from the Plex Home Theater (PHT) in a web browser. 
- I can still add content so now Iām back to using a notepad file as the master source to make my playlists (one step forward and two steps back). :-/

I would be content being able to export / import a playlist that could be e-mailed back and forth between two people that had access to the same server.
Conversely, adding another checkbox in the Preferences section that had āPlaylistsā listed that would allow the Admin to share playlists with select / all / no friends (much like how āAllow Syncā is offered today).
That would at least allow one-way sharing of playlists from PMS Admin to friends.
Anxious to see if there is a response to this popular feature request.
Being able to have shared play list would really be helpful. Especially with music playlist. Right now I have playlists that I created with Administrator. I then created a music channel plug-in that allows anybody to use playlist from all others. It isnāt fancy but it works. It also allows me to use my playlist over DLNA. Plex developers, if I can do this easily with a plug-in, why canāt you guys get this feature in after all this time?
Also really wanting this feature. Would be great for creating music lists to share, Grouping movies (SW, LOTR, PoC, etc), could create playlists for quality (here are what I have for 4k IE), sharing your favorites.
It just makes sense, and if you do a quick search you can see it has been asked for over and over and over again over the years.

#1 feature gap in PLEX. Seems no one there is motivated to address it. In the meantime all we can do is try and come up with snarky definitions for the PLEX acronym.

+1 on shared playlists! Iāve spent a while putting together a playlist of the suggested viewing order for Battlestar Galactica (including the movies and the web series and other specials) and Iād love to be able to share it with my Plex friends.

DEFINITELY a +1 hereā¦I was just surfing the web looking how to do this and Ive seen forums requesting this dating back to 2014!! COME ON DEVS!!! YOU CAN DO IT MANN!!! I use playlists to organize movie collections and would like to share my playlists with my managed usersā¦at the very least I should be able to do thatā¦
I would love to be able to create a music playlist, then share it with my friend who already shares my music library. Please make Playlists shareable.
