Corrupted Metadata - how to solve if refresh doesn't work?

I have all my masterclass seasons together, but this one, season 1, became it’s own series, and separate from all other masterclass seasons. The file data also shows it is pulling data from elsewhere. One mistake I made was that a different season (season 110) was showing S01EXX. I’ve corrected that.

I’ve unmatched it and refreshed metadata Still, three problems:

  1. Why is it separate from the rest of the series?
  2. Why is it pulling from another series? (Gibson’s Learn Guitar)
  3. How do I get it properly in its place?

When you have to correct filenames after PMS has scanned them (and likely made a mess – haha) the easiest and best solution:

  1. Move the media (e.g. an entire series or movie or your masterclass) to a temporary folder which PMS doesn’t monitor/scan

  2. Scan Files (PMS will see it’s gone and mark as deleted)

  3. Empty Trash (PMS removes deleted entries from the database)

  4. Clean Bundles (PMS removes the now-unused/obsolete metadata files)

  5. When done,
    – Check the media and make certain the names are all correct :wink:
    – Move the media back where it belongs
    – Scan files
