Just curious if (eventually) it might be possible to replace another app, rather than Trailers. For example, Flickr, or one of the sports apps. I realize this isn't possible now, but just wondering if it might be possible down the road to have it replace an app of the user's choosing. Great work by the way!

Technicaly it is possible - I see no reason why it shouldn't work. Currently however, PlexConnect is highly dependant on the trailers app and might need huge changes to support another entry point.
ESPN and Sky News seem to be similar to Trailers app? It would be really awesome to replace one of them with PlexConnect.

One of the issues that might creep up: replay of DRM videos...

Also not all countries have the new channels available.
Just stick to trailers and hunt down the imdb trailer plugin for Plex. It works.
I don't quite like Plex channels.
I'll soon go over the PlexConnect code and learn in detail how it works. I just don't have time at the moment. :D
