Hello. I have PMS running on Ubuntu 20.04. I have set up Xteve to use for Live TV/DVR. I have a ReadyNas 214 receiving all the recordings. I have the dshared folder in the ReadyNas 214 mounted. I have set my PMS-linux machine as Plex as a user. The shared folder - user Plex has administrator privileges. The Live TV DVR, looks like content is recording but then after it is finished I get :Could not move recorded media to destination. I saw prior posts in the forum and some users suggested a clean install of PMS. I did that, and that did not work. Please help.
Here are a few lines from my logs:

Is it a problem with permissions? Plex has rwx - privileges
I had a similar problem on a Synology NAS (where you install the package and it run as a container using as user ‘plex’). My ultimate issue was a permission problem–specifically with access control lists (ACLs) that appear to be in use.
When I ran commands (ls -l) on the Synlogy server to check the permissions on the directory to which the files were to be moved, I noted a ‘+’ character–which is used to signify that ACLs have been applied. If you add the ‘-e’ flag to ‘ls’, it will show the ACLs
sh-4.3# ls -el '/volume1/Media/TV Shows'
total 0
drwx------+ 1 plex users 84 Feb 14 09:00 Some Show (2007)
[0] user:plex:allow:rwxpdDaARWcCo:fd-- (level: 0)
[1] user:plex:allow:rwxp--aARWc--:fd-- (level: 1)
[2] group:administrators:allow:rwxpdDaARWc--:fd-- (level: 2)
[3] user:plex:allow:r-x---a-R-c--:fd-- (level: 2)
Noting the absence of a ‘w’ (write) permission in the last ACL, I ran the following command as root to add write permission for plex in all folders (and files) in the destination directory (and it’s subdirectories):
Following that command, the permissions looked like this and subsequent recordings were moved to the proper location (and available via Plex clients):
sh-4.3# ls -el '/volume1/Media/TV Shows'
total 0
drwx------+ 1 plex users 84 Feb 14 09:00 Some Show (2007)
[0] user:plex:allow:rwxpdDaARWcCo:fd-- (level: 0)
[1] user:plex:allow:rwxp--aARWc--:fd-- (level: 1)
[2] group:administrators:allow:rwxpdDaARWc--:fd-- (level: 2)
[3] user:plex:allow:rwx---a-R-c--:fd-- (level: 2)
I’ve not checked if old recordings that failed to move were retroactively relocated (though I could do that manually), but at least it’s working. Hopefully this helps you or others track things down–good luck!
In my case Plex is able to create the destination folder (e.g. <mytvlibraryfolder>/My TV Show (2019)/Season 01/), but log shows Grabber error and the .grab folder is empty.
The frustrating part: it was working fine before.
The relevant settings / details:
PMS 1.22.2.4282 on Mac
30GB free storage
Enigma2 based STB running HRTunerProxy - modified to serve transcoded stream (port 8002) instead of hi-res stream (port 8001)
Viewing live streams works fine
no postprocessing script
Live TV & DVR > DVR settings > detect commercials > disabled
Live TV & DVR > device settings > convert video while recording > off
I stopped working I think after I was tweaking a couple of the options (transcoded/hi-res stream, detect commercials, convert video while recording). I did reset them to the original values and I removed + added the DVR device, and restarted all devices (DVR + PMS). But no effect.
Log shows Grabber error for the file that was recorded:

Maybe not related, but also getting -every 5 minutes- for 34 items:

Thank you wivaku for your responses. I have plex running off of my original Windows PC, for the time being. I will attempt your suggestions on my Ubuntu machine.
