My live TV/HDR setup was working fine. I’m not sure what changed but now every channel shows the Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna error. None of my scheduled recordings record (no surprise). My server is on MacOS and the error is the same on my web player (using Safari or Firefox) and on two different Apple TVs. All the channels work fine on my HDHome Run app. My server shows the tuner and all channels appear in the guide. I’ve set the client network to IPv4 Only as someone suggested in another thread.

I’ve experienced this in the past when channel changes occurred. The solution which worked for me was to:

  • Delete the DVR in Plex Media Server.
  • Navigate to (in a browser) hdhomerun.local, select Channel Lineup, and then Detect Channels.
  • Create a new DVR in Plex Media Server.
  • Recreate any scheduled recordings.

This just basically resets/resyncs everything.
