Rebuilt my server without taking a backup of my databases. Windows 10 Machine hasn’t moved but it fails to tune any channels now with the Haup-QuadHD… I don’t understand how its gone from 150+ channels to 0. Only difference is plex server build but I don’t have any of the old installer files to roll back to. Tried different drivers for the card which didn’t help and deleted my new databases for it to create newer. Still seeing “No channels found. Make sure your device has a signal from your antenna and try scanning again.”

i have the same problem since i installed my Telestar DIGIBIT Twin Server. I can view all channels with Sat IP App on my ipad but in plex i get the error that he can not tune in the channel and i should check my antenna. How can i provide logs so someone can hoepfully help me with this problem?
Fixed my own issue by installing the hauppauge wintv10 software which installed another driver for my quadhq card which plex worked with.
is this error not solved at all after all this time? i would like to use plex for live tv and i need help with this error. can someone please look into this? i will provide infos as u need them
The error text is a generic error message that may get returned for many different reasons. You can see above examples of that.

i downloaded the log after reproduce the error. The files are attached.
The error comes up if i would likt to tune the channel or start viewign them on DVR Live TV in Plex.
The SatIP Server is working fine with the App on the iPad.

What transponder file is used for scanning the channels in DVR Settings
We do not support satellite DVRs - if it works, that is good, If it does not, then there is nothing that I can do other than checking the transponder file we use for the lineup

What transponder file do u mean? where do i find the info u need? did u mean this? ( Kathrein ?)
Why u do not support Sat DVRs? u see them commonly in Germany onyl the citys have cable here.
Plex Version 1.28.0.5999 on windows 10
The tuner only works if I restart the computer. After I restart the computer, I can watch fine on that session, but if I close it, then next time I come back all it says “could not tune” on all channels. This is on microsoft edge, roku app, and iOS.
I’ve tried deleting and re-installing Plex media server and the DVR. The issue persists.
Attached are logs where the last thing I did was try to watch live tv through the tuner. Previous to that I watched a short clip from a movie to verify that the PMS was working.
Also logs after I restarted the computer, was able to tune to a station, then it stopped working.

There are a couple of different issues showing in the logs
There are some Plex Tuner Service crashes. Please can you look for these files in the %TEMP% directory which should by default would be
C:\Users\kurtz\AppData\Local\Temp
The files to look for are:

The logs also show error -138 which in the past has been seen to arise when the windows system runs out of dynamic tcp port numbers

Could you save the windows system event log through “Event Viewer” and zip the file and send me by Private Message
Start / Run and type in “Event Viewer”
Launch the Event Viewer app
Expand Windows Logs
Click on System
and then right click and select "Save All Events As "
give it a filename to save to and then zip the resulting evtx file and and send to me
With regards to the Plex Tuner Service crashes, I do have a development build available with some extra logging and I will add you to the private message thread for that so you have access to this build (1.28.2.6049)
All satellite channels are accessed through triplet numbers - I asked about triplets in case the information we use is out of date since we do not support satellite dvrs and what is there may be inaccurate.

When you setup the DVR in Plex Media Server and it is one managed by the Plex Tuner Service, then there would be a selection of transponders files to use when scanning the channels during DVR setup.
You could get me download of the Plex Media Server database and i may be able to find that referenced. Alternatively delete the dvr and recreate it and get me screenshots of the flow and debug server logs to see what ini files are being used
Hello I am not sure if this is an ongoing issue or if I install it incorrectly. But this is happening on all my devices. I purchase a HomeRun Quatro install the coax cable from the antenna into the box. I install the ethernet cable into the router. Not directly from the modem. And the WD NAS that I have Plex Server install on is plug into the router as well. And then I look for the liveTV on Plex. It scans the channels and I see a schedule but when I click on a scan channel the above error happens on every device. My setup is:
WD My Cloud
Plex Server 1.28.2.6151
Samsung Smart TV
Windows 10
Can someone help me fix this?

Please get some logs so i can start an investigation for your problem
Ensure first you run with debug logging enabled on the server

Restart the server to get fresh logs created
Reproduce the problem and then take a screenshot / note down time of error and then download the server logs and attach here together with any screenshot and details of steps / actions and error

It failed thinking there is not enough disc space to transcode but appears to be due to incorrect syntax for the transcoder temp directory path

The path for the transcoder temp directory in server settings appears to have been set to
\Transcoder
This is running on a Western Digital MyCloudPR4100
You can delete the setting for Server / Transcoder / Transcoder Temp Directory and restart the server and the default location will be used

We fixed a database issue in Plex Media Server relating to Vbox DVR IP address changes - this may also have a bearing on multiple Vbox DVRs - suggest trying out today’s beta

If the problem remains, I would need fresh diagnostics - with details of the DVRs, download of the Plex Media Server, IP addresses and Vbox DVR Ids (Mac Addresses would be fine) and Server logs when the problem arises
