Could someone help me setup Plex for my own video files? I can't figure this out.

I have my own media files (home movies), I’ve added them to Plex library but most don’t show up, and those that do are in very bizarre random Season folders with strange names. Even if I browse by folder they aren’t there. They’re all in normal formats (AVI)

Can I just setup a folder with my own files, keep the original names and just have Plex show those names? Does that makes sense? More like the videos section on Windows Media Center, I can just dump videos into a folder and see them all.

Setup a new library and select the “Other Video” library type.

This is exactly what this type is for.
