Separate Folders for Home Videos

I have uploaded all my home videos from the 80s to present to Plex. Even though they were in individual folders on my computer (e.g. - Christmas 1987 - PSU Graduation - Boot Camp Graduation, etc), all the individual videos are appearing in alphabetical order, and I have to search through a tremendous amount of videos to find the one I want. Is there anyway to have Plex create separate folders for each group of videos I want, kind of the same way it creates individual “folders” for TV series? Thanks!

Finding it will be different depending on what you’re using (and I’m not home now to give an accurate path, anyway), but there should be a “Folder” option within the library that lets you navigate via using the folders.

I rip all of my DVD special features and have ended up with thousands of videos in that library. Folders is how I easily navigate there.

Almost all Plex clients support a ‘Folder view’ mode.
This should give you, what you’re after.

I just ended up creating a TV show library, and for all videos, I named them by season and episode. For instance, 1987 Christmas Eve which is the third video in the folder, I named it, S1987E03 - Christmas Eve. It took a while, but doing this for all my home videos made it incredibly organized and easy for my family and I to view any video we want.
