@nerpish - did the rollback version support DVR scheduled recordings, either individual or series? I too have this issue recording MLS matches for Austin FC. Deleting the scheduled recording seems to have stabilized. 4656, but I really need to be able to record the games
Also, how did you get the .4571 installer? I donāt see old versions on the Plex download page.
I keep a local copy of a few stable versions for just in case reasons. If you had automatic updates going, check your āUpdatesā folder in your plex application data folders and there should be previous versions in there. If not, you can google around and find archives ā I know VideoHelp maintains a repository. The stored updates should be under your users\YOURNAME\AppData\local\Plex Media Server\Updates
And yes, the previous version had no issues with scheduled sports recordings.
Took me the last 48 hours to figure this out, but I also have this issue with Linux (Ubuntu) server. After the update, the Plex web service would be available for a few seconds then stop responding to HTTP requests. I took the extreme approach of deleting metadata and reinstalling. The moment I added Philadelphia Union (DOOP! ) MLS soccer team recordings to the schedule, the server died. I repeated the whole setup again without doing the soccer game scheduling. Seems like it is something with sports team recordings (possibly limited to MLS soccer teams), but not limited to Windows.
Had this problem after update last night. As per the suggestion in the thread, I copied out the six tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud files, started up PMS, quick went in and deleted my āAll New York Metsā DVR entry, and so far PMS hasnāt crashed.
