I’ve noticed today that both Plex Media Server an CrashUploader are both using a fair bit of CPU usage, while not actually doing much of anything. CrashUploader needs to be force quit in order to reduce CPU usage.
I’ve been trying to comb through the logs, but nothing has really popped out at me to be causing the crash.
Any help would be appreciated.
I’ve had the same issue for a while.
I have updated to PMS 4.123.2 on my Mac today hoping it would fix the issue but CrashUploader is using all my CPU power up so, like yourself, I have to force quit it each time.
Hopefully, somebody can come up with a solution as I’ve had the issue for a while now.
While I probably need to wait a couple more days to know for sure, but I’m wondering if it may be a bug in the updating/patching process. Yesterday, I tried redownloading the current binary from the website and overwrote the existing application file. So far, so good.
