Create MKV files on a mac

Server Version#:
Player Version#:
I can’t get MakeMKV any longer. It says the version is too old but I can’t get a new version as the site seems to be down. Any ideas.

You can grab the most recent version from archive.org (use the 8/1 crawl) until the site becomes available again. For what it’s worth, this happens occasionally.

What philipsw wrote… or buy a license of MakeMKV instead of using the endlessly free beta

I’d intended to mention this point but got distracted. Thanks!

I wish this option was available.

I believe that happens every now and then with their homepage – whenever there’s been little progress/updates and they forget to pay their hosting provider. Well… let’s see.

Handbrake ?

Handbrake won’t help you if you are wanting to rip a BD. Additionally many people would prefer to have a remux of the original if storage space isn’t as much of an issue.

I would second buying a license when the site is back up. In the mean time, if you really need to rip a disk, you may be able to get away with changing the the system clock back.

FYI, the MakeMKV site is back up now.
