Hi, I use MakeMKV to rip my Blu-Rays discs, HD DVDs and DVDs before moving the converted MKV file to my media drive where Plex accesses my movies. It is excellent and I have enjoyed using the free beta versions so I decided to purchase the software, however paying AUD 74.04 is too much in my opinion. Is there an alternative that anyone can recommend that provides lossless conversions either free or at a more reasonable price for Mac computers?
You don’t have to pay. You can use the beta version for free with zero limits.
When the beta key expires, just visit the makemkv forum and get the latest beta key.
the beta key expired yesterday but hasn’t been updated yet. I’m sure it will soon.
Just keep on visiting the forum and getting a new beta key.
Change the date on your machine back to when you first installed it, it works for me.
As much as I use that software, I paid for it to help support development.
