Create Smart Collection based on Folders

I would like to be able to create Smart Collections from folders. No filter match the criteria I need, and the only way to group the movies I want to group is storing them together into folders. Problem is, I cannot create Collections nor Smart Collections from my folders.

There’s an existing feature suggestion to include folder or path elements to the filter options.
I suggest you vote/comment in that thread as that will enable you to create smart collections based on that information.

Feature Request: File Path filter // Automatic dynamic Full Pathname tags & associated Filter

We have other requests that are similar to this but not the same. What I would like is to have a class of user tags for all media files that would be dynamically and automatically created based on the full pathname of the media object and to add a filter option for selecting these dynamic tags in all the players. Filter by filepath is already in the api, it just hasn’t been exposed in the menu.

Tools like plex-metadata-manager has already inplemented it
