I would love the ability to create smart playlists based on folder location.

There’s an existing feature suggestion discussing the option to create filters based on file paths or components of paths (e.g. certain folders / subfolders). With this filter option you could also create smart playlists based on file folder locations. I therefore suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.

Feature Request: File Path filter // Automatic dynamic Full Pathname tags & associated Filter

We have other requests that are similar to this but not the same. What I would like is to have a class of user tags for all media files that would be dynamically and automatically created based on the full pathname of the media object and to add a filter option for selecting these dynamic tags in all the players.
