Creating movie extras library

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if someone could give a shout into the right direction.
I am collecting a lot of making of material, since I am working in the film business myself.
I am collecting the extras of movies, that I have in my main movie library in separate folders (“Featurettes”, “Trailers”, Behind the Scenes", etc) and it works as far as it should.
But sometimes, I do have extras for feature-movies, that I don’t have in my movie-library. So I just have extras lying around. So I thought of collecting those in a separate library “Making of”, without the main feature.

SO I have created a new movie-type library and created the same folder and naming structure. But this did not work out, since the agents are missing the main feature movie. So i created a text-file with the “name of the movie”.mkv and this worked so far.
But the weird thing is: It doesn’t work properly on my mobile iOS Plex Player, but on ATV and Browser.
In the iOS-Player, the movies and extras are being displayed, but I cannot scroll through them, it always jumps back to the first entry. So I can only access the first two or three extras at all on my iOS, I don’t know why. Any ideas?

And maybe someone has a better idea of how to setup the makingof-library at all.

Many thanks.

Option 1: organize the files as regular extras in a movie type library.

include a fake movie file; if you want some sugar coating, make it an actual brief clip, pointing to the extras – if you don’t want any sugar coating… just rename a text file as movie name (year).mkv

Option 2: create a “other video” library

Name those extras as if they’re your main features and have Plex show them by their file names.
