All that does is make more folders in the TV Show Library - for no real benefit. Nothing about that is any different than this:
That’s just a collection of TV Show Library Folders added to the main TV Show Folder - scattered hither and yon all over 6HDDs in the Plexiverse.
Maybe I’m looking at it wrong, but that won’t even add those specific folders to a folder search, will it?:
The best way by far is to use a collection to bring groups of shows together (and I outta know…lol):

That’s where it all blows up for many. You do need to be able to compromise - a little to a lot.
Maybe Plex has something in mind with Smart Collections, but before they can sell that idea, they’re going to need to fix them so Shared Users can see what’s in them - and after NINE releases since deployment (broken) - not yet:
