So one thing I’ve long wanted is cross library and cross media collections so that I can have say a Star Wars collection where films, tvs shows and soundtracks all appear.
Now with the blog post about the collections feature it actually shows something off similar to what i’d want, but for some reason i cannot get it to work at all.
I mean collections still work, but but I cannot get it to work like the screenshots in the blogpost show. Even deleting and recreating collections and items in my Star Wars collection in my shows library do not appear alongside my Star Wars movie collection and I cannot even see how to add Albums to a collection.
There is no collection section in albums. you can filter by them but there is no album collection preplay for albums/artist etc as mentioned in the support article. https://support.plex.tv/articles/201273953-collections/
When viewing the tv or movie collection preplay they will show up on the bottom. open your star wars collection from movies and the albums will show up on bottom
Thats kind of confusing given the images showing collections as part of albums.
For some reason I have no way to add albums to a collection, like the support article says. Though I can add artists to collections like the article says.
