The aggregation of content has no value for me. Real or otherwise. And I know in advance what I would recommend to friends or family. Don’t need an algorithm or a 3rd. party for that.
No. Its not. I have to pick one folder when i open up the app. I can’t see all of the folders like i used to. There is no show all feature. I need it to show me all the albums or all the artists. Not just recently added. Also i purposely use plex and put all my owned music on it because i don’t use streaming services…i have no options anymore to remove “stations” “most played” “history” or “more of”. If you want it to be a separate app…its a pain…but fine. But please make it user friendly like the old plex was.
Server version 4.145.1, iOS app version 2025.10.2, when playing to a Chromecast 2 device, subtitles don’t show. They do work on web app, and PS4 app as well. Same movie use to work fine before the iOS app update

I’m not sure what you mean by “I want it to show me all the albums” or “all the artists” because you can do that easily by choosing “Library” at the bottom tab and then choosing “Artists” or “Albums”. You mention folders, that’s there too.

What I miss is if the directory view cannot be fixed for browsing.
Because now it jumps back to the recommended view when I restart the app.
Another missing feature I can’t find is how can I add new favorites to my favorite directories?
I also don’t like the fact that on Apple tv you can’t customize your favorites to go on the side like before, or on top like in the new release.
I also don’t like that the favorites are on top and when I scroll down they disappear.
I also miss the features mentioned above.
Many things work very strangely and what used to be two clicks has now become four.
I hope these problems will be fixed soon.

With iPadOS it respects the given device’s orientation settings from swipe down or from the playing Title bottom left Vertical Ellipsis ⋮/ playback options/ Lock to landscape. Which currently does not work.
On Android on Auto Rotate from drop down menu options or the Ellipsis again on a playing title.
Update: Lock to Landscape will be fixed in next Beta Release
With new plex app, I cannot search smart collections and event click into it.
The new iOS version doesn’t seem to support TV-series Season or full series download, only episodes one by one.
I also lost connection with my Synology server and thus library. When adding again, all my progress was gone, so now I have to guess which series I watched and up to which episode. Annoying!!

This might have been posted before, but I cannot find it:
Downloads on iOS are totally useless for me at this stage!
In the past I could ‘subscribe’ to a couple of TV Shows and have them download the next 5 unwatched episodes - so just enough for a short business trip.
Back home it would sync watch status back and (continue to) download new episodes (or not, depending on watch status).
That is gone! At least I can now download entire seasons again, but that is not close to being a workaround.
In addition to that is the navigation on the downloads page a crime against usability - just a flat list of episodes, no sorting, no filtering, no grouping.
Who on earth can considers this piece of software shippable?
Apologies for the rant, but the more I was describing the lack of functionality, the more emotional I got…
Any plans to fix this?

The download x unwatched they said is coming back but no timeline.
And yes downloads need to move back to a “library view” like it used to be and not this one long list of episodes but seen no comment that that is being looked at. You can sort but only options are “title” “download time” and “size”. nothing real useful other then title.

Nope!
It’s likely never coming. They have completely abandoned any semblance of modern product management or feature testing.
If everything „Plex“ in the world seems to turn against you and you only see „it’s never going to happen“ as the only option, it seems to be a good time to take a deep breath and maybe step away from screens and keyboards for a while.
When you feel better, take a look at all the things they’ve already fixed since the original release of the new app.
Are all the fixes for you? Probably not.
But they’re fixing things and keep doing so.
It’s ok to be frustrated, but by no means to despair.
