I have recently setup PMS on Nvidia Shield with Live TV but unfortunately my TV provider is a small independent company who delivers a real mix of TV stations.
This means when I am setting up a DVR and choose the broadcaster for EPG ( Sky UK in this case) it doesn’t allow me to map all the channels as obviously Sky doesn’t broadcast the Irish, German, French etc.
Does anyone know of a way I can create a custom EPG selection mixing different broadcasts or channels?
I am not aware of a custom EPG for the official Live TV/DVR maybe someone else can confirm this?!?!
I am not sure what Tuner you have but I use HDHR and the HDHR Viewer 2 plugin in order to watch LiveTV which pulls all channels from the HDHR direct so if my tuner can see it I can watch hit on my Plex clients. This will not allow you to record but may provide you a way to watch Live TV for those channels.
You might search the forum for using an XML EPG instead of a Plex provided one. That might be an available solution for you.
