I’m using an nvidia shield as my server.
Unfortunately i had to restore my libraries with a backup from last week. That went all right, but now it looks like al my custom artwork isn’t their anymore. All of the artwork is removed (blank posters) and if i do ‘refresh metadata’ it gives the ‘default’ posters for movies/tv shows.
Is their anyway i can get my custom posters back?
I’ve restored the com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db & com.plexapp.plugins.library.db with the backup from December 8th in \Android\data\com.plexapp.mediaserver.smb\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases
Custom artwork was updated before december 8th.
The databases don’t contain any images. You need the data files for that. It’s a bit tricky on the Shield due to how permissions work but you can find our more here under “Nvidia Shield”: Where is the Plex Media Server data directory located? | Plex Support
I guess the data is still there.
I can access the directories your link is referring to, but where are the images stored then on a shield.
Okay, I’m not clear on whether the entire Shield was wiped or not.
You could provide your server logs, it may shed some light on what’s going on.
No, the shield wasn’t wiped entirely… just replaced com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db & com.plexapp.plugins.library.db with an older version
