Custom notes/tags/flags for media?

I’m not sure what’s the best way to solve the problem I have.

I have multiple 4K movies, but currently not a way to rip 4K discs. I’ve ripped the standard HD version of the movies so I can have them in Plex, but I’d like a way to make a note that there is also a 4K disc available.

For example, when I open the item for “Batman Begins”, I’d like to see a note that indicates to me that this is a movie I have in 4K, I just have to get the disc to watch it.

Is there a good way to do this besides just putting a note in the movie description?

So, you want plex to tell you that you have a dvd/bluray lying around that you can watch?

Nope, I want a way to put in a custom tag that’s displayed on the details screen for a piece of media. I’m just describing an example of a way that I would use it. I’m sure a lot of people would have ways to use such a thing in ways that I could never think of.

For my issue, I thought about using “Genre” but AppleTV only shows one genre, and even the web client only shows two.

The more I think about it the more I realize the scope of these relatively small change, because it would require adjustments to the UI for every client.
