How can I customise Plex so that I can put episodes of television shows into their respective season folders. Thanks.
Plex is not the organizer. It’s the reader.
i.e. Plex just displays and streams what you give it.
My Tv shows are organized by sonaar while or after downloading.
I don’t have them in seasons but sonaar can do that.
My TV shows are organised by Sonarr too and I use filebot for any other renaming jobs.
If you name your files correctly, that should happen automatically.

Can’t Sonaar be ‘coaxed’ into proper file naming for Plex? If not FileBot is indeed the master at that valuable function (link in my signature).

It takes very little for Sonarr to use Plex’s naming and format. I helped set up a Sonarr to automagically import files recorded by various DVR systems and once set up to conform to Plex’s rules it works perfectly.
The first time I set it up for a friend it took me all of ten minutes to get it going. All you have to do is pay attention to the documentation.
For renaming existing files I recommend FileBot which is almost as easy to set up as Sonarr. I think FileBot can even be configured to correct a bad structure.
If you want to use Plex and use its full features then you must get your media in a format Plex knows about. Plex, mostly, cannot be customized to handle alien structures or names.

It sure can, and it’s very straightforward to configure so that it adheres to the Plex naming convention. I use Filebot for other media I acquire outside Sonarr.

Yep I am the same.
