Feature Request: Locast Support

Locast is a great, free way of streaming your local channels. It would be awesome to have a direct integration with Plex so we have an option other than the HDhomerun if we want to stream local channels.

Feature Request: Add TV Everywhere to Live TV Dvr

Channels DVR has recently added the ability to pull in TV Everywhere channels through your current cable subscription. [TV Everywhere Support] It is a nice addition because these streaming channels do not use up a tuner (currently use a hdhomerun Prime and cable card) and there are sometimes (depending on cable provider) more channels than what you get through your cable. Multiple epg sources, for those with multiple tuners

This is really one of those things the Plex should have made a high priority as soon as Silicon Dust presented the idea of internet feeds along side the analog tuner. Plex was the only big name that couldn’t accommodate it properly because they couldn’t mix and match guide listings. Since then other concepts like TV Everywhere has come out. which should make it pretty obvious for anyone paying attention that mixing and matching providers is going to be a big thing in the future.
