Anyone else getting a black screen and crash in the Plex app? I think it occurs most often when I reach the end of the video. Once the video/show is over, I frequently hit the 10 minute jump to make sure Plex marks the video as watched. After that I hit the back button, go to another show and when I hit Play it just shows a black screen and freezes. To get out of the freeze I go to Xbox home and reselect Plex in the “active” window. Plex then restarts, and everything is back to normal. This seems to happen just about every time I use Plex on Xbox One though. I thought it was a known bug, but not sure.
Not a known issue, I think. Could you please enable logging in your app settings and post the logs from PMS when this happens?

Ok, will do. It actually seems similar to the issue posted in the “I would like to sort my music by album” thread. Similar idea, I back out, try to play, and then window freezes. I’ll capture the logs though and post soon.
Have yet to see it happen for video though, so would be good to know. Appreciate the help!
Ok, attached are the logs. I believe it crashed/froze at about 8:44 PM. I tried to play the video Public Morals and it froze. I had to go to Xbox Home, quit, and restart to get the video to play.
@“Dom C” Plex crashed multiple times again yesterday. Is there anything in the logs to indicate why?
Please can you enable your logging in the Xbox One app - it’s hidden under the settings page when you hit the menu button on your controller. That might give us some more info. Thanks!

I updated Plex server to the latest version 0.9.12.15 today. This is specifically supposed to fix the black screen on Xbox one issue. Well I am still facing this issue intermittently. There is no pattern and happens to all video types. But most often when I press the back button with a video playing and then try to play it again. It just freezes with the same back screen and can’t play videos for a while. Please help fix this issue as my primary reason for subscribing to Plex Pass was to be able to use it on the Xbox one. I love Plex otherwise.

0.9.12.15 fixes blank TV sections, not the issues of blank videos, I’m afraid.
