The Plex server is good at cataloging films, but when it comes to TV Shows, it barely recognises any of the media in the folder and won’t display them. A lot of the shows are on British tv. Is there an additional database that can be added to Plex to cater to the non-US market?
To be clear File Manager sees the files, Plex does not recognise the programmes.
Video Station app does recognise the programmes.
Plex relies on The Movie Database (TMDB) and TVDB for TV show information. I think they both have a lot of info on British shows, so it’s likely that Plex simply isn’t recognizing your files. This is usually because the files are not organized and named so that Plex can understand them. Take a look at this Help page:
