Default to Library Tab ( NOT Recommended Tab) when clicking a Library

Server Version#:
Player Version#:

Is there anyway to remove (or disable) the recommended tab, so that when a user selects a Library, they go straight to the Library tab?

(when i phrase it like that it actually doesn’t make sense that by default one is brought to the Recommended tab, when they click a Library).

Ie you click Library TV Shows, and you see all of the TV shows.

Is this possible? (ideally on the server side, as ive had a few friends who are confused as to why they cant find all of my large content library).
thanks

There should be an option in the settings to remember the selected tab which will remember the last tab that you selected. It’s a per client setting and not server side.

Are you saying when someone is using a client, they can’t select “Library”? With only showing the “Recommended” they cannot see all of the available shows? That’s the problem I’m having when using my tablet or phone. I have Recommended and much rather chose the show I want at any given time, but Plex ignores when I click on Library and jumps back to Recommended.

He is saying every client has this option (which I thought was defaulted to on/enabled) so when you open a library whichever tab ( Recommended, Library, Collections, Playlists) you were on the last time you were in that library will be the one it returns to when you go back into that library.

Thanks for all the replies, and i was aware of the Remember Selected Tab option (which does work for my personal apple TVs)

I was asking if there was a way to do this server side for those less technical users (ie friends i share my server with, mainly older people).

i assume this is not an option in the server though. (would be nice if it were added)
tks

there is not

Mentioned that in my reply (see bold):
