After the latest Plex Media Server update, I now see an icon in the Roku app of a “trash can.” This is for permanently deleting movies, videos whatever. I had this feature disabled on the PMS before the update. Now, this feature has been enabled and I don’t see anywhere on the PMS where I can disable it. I want this “delete feature” disabled on the Roku. How can I disable it? and why did this latest update change my setting on the PMS for this feature and did this without any sort of notification of the change? It would be nice to be able to update the PMS and keep my settings.
You find it under
Settings - Server - Library - ‘Show Advanced’ - “Allow media deletion”
Toggle the setting back and forth with saving the changes inbetween. This’ll make sure the preference gets saved properly.
